GRANTS

Stoddard Baptist Nursing Home was the recipient of the following grants in 2008:

• $15,000 from the Ada and Albert Wibel Foundation
  
  Miss Mary Etta Wibel established the Ada and Albert M. Wibel Foundation in honor of her parents to benefit the underprivileged, single mothers, children and people with terminal illnesses in the Washington area.

 

• $20,000 from the St. Anna's Home Fund
  
  The St. Anna's Home Fund Corporation was formed to provide for elderly and handicapped persons via housing facilities and services designed to meet their physical, social, and psychological needs, as well as promote their helath, security, happiness, usefulness, and longer life.

In 1902, Stoddard Baptist Home, Inc. was initially founded to provide
shelter and a home like setting for elderly ministers and their wives or widows. Today, our organization has grown and evolved to meet the daily needs of our residents at both Stoddard Baptist Nursing Home and Sycamore Hill Senior Assisted Living.
