Volunteer Services
Volunteers are an essential part of our program. They are recruited from community service organizations, schools, churches and fellow neighbors of the historic Mt. Pleasant area of Washington, DC metropolitan, suburban area and beyond. Additional training is provided for volunteers for the area of service in which they choose to work. The training is provided by a cadre of highly trained staff of people in the areas of Nursing, Therapeutic Recreation, Rehabilitative Services, Maintenance and Social Services.
